Where to eat in Nha Trang?
It's not hard to guess what the most popular cuisine in the coastal city of Nha Trang is. Still, seafood comes in many forms and combinations so variety can still be the spice of your culinary adventures here.
Of course as Nha Trang is a tourist destination this means that you can try the upmarket five-star hotel dining options but its nice to know that there are lots of local down-home choices. In fact the only obstacle you will find is that not all menus are in English.

Stop by this Oceanside open-air bar/restaurant for a real Western breakfast, if nothing else. A good bet is their pancakes, not greasy and served with real butter. There are other Western standbys such as macaroni and cheese and hamburgers, as well as the usual Nha Trang seafood ions. Since expanding it also serves Vietnamese, Indian, Italian and Japanese dishes. The setting, in several large huts, can be beat. You can lounge on the beach and buy or swap a book from their well-stocked rack (have a chat with the racks proprietor, who speaks excellent English and is an interesting fellow). The bar swings at night. Main courses VND 65,000-100,000 (US$ 5 - US$ 7). Highly recommended.
