How to get a Vietnam visa from Uganda?

From Uganda, visitors might get a Vietnam visa in just a few hours by applying for visa on arrival or get visa at Vietnam Embassy in Kampala, Uganda in 3 - 5 working days.

Each visa application option is offering some advantages and disadvantages. Apply for Vietnam visa on arrival

In order to apply for a visa on arrival, you are just requested to fulfil 3 simple steps:

  • Fill in application form online ad make a payment for service processing fee
  • Getting a visa approval letter sending by email within 2 hours (emergency service) or 2 working days (normal service)
  • Present the original passport, letter, 2 photos (at passport sized) and pay a stamping fee to get visa stamped on the passport at arrival airport

NOTICE
The citizens of Uganda are not encouraged to apply for visa on arrival since they may be subject to very high service fee (up to $US180 per visa, excluding stamping fee) to arrange their visa approval letter. If you really expect to get a visa to Vietnam and the Vietnam Embassy in the country denies to issue it, we are willing to help you getting an e-visa.
