Vietnam visa requirements for Omani citizens

Vietnam immigration policies regulated that all Omani residents must have visa to enter and stay in Vietnam within 1 to 3 months, single or multiple entry. From Oman, they may apply for a visa at the nearest Vietnam Embassy or apply visa on arrival to save the cost

From Oman, the applicants may apply for Vietnam visa by 2 options:

  • Getting a visa on arrival within 2 working days or just 1 or 2 hours by applying a visa online. It's beneficial for those who is living in the country where there is no Vietnam Embassy located and who arrive Vietnam by air (it is a must). See more how it works.

    No document is required for Vietnam visa on arrival. Applicants just need to provide the visa information by filling in the online application form with full name, gender, date of birth, nationality and passport number. A letter of approval issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department will be shipped via email at a given time.

  • Getting a Vietnam visa from Vietnam Embassy or Consulate in Oman and it takes 3 - 5 working days
    Required documents for Vietnam Embassy visa application include original passport, application form attached with 1 photo and visa fees.

NOTICE
The citizens of Oman are not encouraged to apply for visa on arrival since they may be subject to very high service fee (up to $US180 per visa, excluding stamping fee) to arrange their visa approval letter.
